1) Regular Writing: As a professional columnist, I am a regularly writing columns for important topics such as Entrepreneurship, Education, Business Management, etc. for various newspapers, news portals, blogs, social media pages, business magazines, etc.
2) My research: Recently I was doing research on how to UGC and NAAC give rating to MBA colleges in the country. If you search on Google these days, many B schools, MBA colleges claim that they are listed in the list of top ten colleges in the country. After doing more research, I noticed that if you search online, you can find more than 100 such B-schools and colleges. In fact, there should be only 10 educational institutions in the top ten. So how did these more than 100 colleges get into the top ten?
3) Surprised and Funny: I was shocked by the research I did. Nowadays almost all colleges and B schools claim to be listed among the top ten educational institutions in the country in online advertisements. For this, these institutes adopt various marketing strategies and tricks. By various standards and criteria, these colleges show that they are in the top ten list in online results with the help of various mediums. Some do online PR, some use newspapers, while some rely on paid marketing on web and social media. Some B-schools run their marketing and advertising campaigns at great expense. As a result, these B schools, MBA colleges seem to be in the top ten list in online search results. So whether they are really in the top ten or not. Even if a college’s actual rating is low or mediocre, online results show that it is in the top ten list.
4) Marketing Tips and Paid Rating: Every B School/MBA College has its own concrete marketing plan. Also, these educational institutions seek the help of a paid agency. There are many such agencies in the market. These agencies bring these institutes in the top ten search results on online media offering paid reviews and paid promotions. Regardless of the actual UGC or NAAC rating of these institutions, the online results do not relate to any criteria or evaluation method based on UGC or NAAC standards. Educational institutions like IIM and IIT, on the other hand, never advertise themselves in the top ten list and do not even need such advertising and marketing.
5) What should students do? Students, corporate employees who want to do MBA through distance learning should not enrol only by looking at the advertisements of top-ten colleges that appear online, but also check the actual evaluation of those educational institutions based on UGC or NAAC standards and then make the right decision. Don’t rely on any online search results right away.

Is the fee shown in the online results correct? We will definitely provide proper guidance on all these issues. Take it one step further.
